Status Panel does not update

  • Grafana: 6.1.6
  • Status Panel: 1.0.9
  • Data Source: Prometheus

My Prometheus metric delivers a simple 0 if a service is down and 1 it it’s up. The status panel shall show red on 0 and green on 1.

However I cannot get the status panel to reflect these data. The panel is always green no matter which values I enter as thresholds.

Does it show correctly as a number?

Does your query have an alias? The status panel doesn’t do anything without each query having a unique alias.

Thanks a lot… my queries were missing an alias/legend. That’s why the panel didn’t show anything. After having adapted the aliases the panel works :smiley:
