Hello everyone,
I’m facing an issue with Grafana lately and it’s getting more and more annoying.
When I’m doing some work on a dashboard (or just opening one) sometimes the page keep refreshing itself (not the Grafana data, the whole page).
I tried to see if it could be linked to the account (so I tried other ones) or the search engine (I also tried other ones), sadly nothing changed…
I would gladly receive some opinions on the situation please.
Thanks in advance,
Leane
Please provide reproducible example, e. g. used version, config, debug logs, browser errors from the console,…

The version is 11.5.2.
I’m using a MySQL database.
The errors when the dashboard suddently refresh are:
“Unauthorized”
“Dashboard failed to load”
The ones when I try to save the edits are :
“Someone else has updated this dashboard” knowing I’m the only one working on it
“Failed to save dashboard”
How is your Grafana deployed/installed/scaled?

Before answering I would like to specify 3 things :
I wasn’t the one who installed it, the person who did isn’t working with me now,
I only know little about all of the installation files,
These issues started a month ago however, for months before it never occured.
So to try and answer you, the Grafana files were installed on the same server as the database.
I’m not familiar with how Grafana was deployed and scaled, could you please specify what it means ?
Thanks
ok, so my opinion: someone changed something in your Grafana or Grafana’s deployment or your browser, so consequence is that you are loosing authentication and Grafana then is relogging you.
Where is it installed? In cloud, on prem, your laptop? And what version is it, what is is it installed on?

I first thought it could be linked to a browser issue so I tried another one and it still hapened.
What is weird is that sometimes it’s reloading like 10 times in 5 minutes and at other times it works well for 30 minutes…
Okay so it might be linked to a logging issue, do you have any idea on what to check to resolve or understand it better ?

It is installed on an external server, same one where the MySQL database is, so I can access the files from my computer.
The actual version is 11.5.2.
gotcha. Not sure what “the MySQL database” is nor what the “files you can access from your computer are” in relation to grafana.
I think the best route is to get some grafana consultant to look into your install. As is it is next to impossible to help you out through forum conversations.

So what I mean by “the MySQL database” is the database conneted in Grafana, from where I request the data in order to create graphics.
This one is on a specific server and Grafana configuration files are on the same one.
Okay I get it, I did send an email to Grafana support system, thank you for your time !
