I am trying to understand the billing model of Grafana Cloud, but I cannot understand the definition of “active series”.
Is it a tile with time series?? An real example is welcome…thank you!

The term “active series” describes the timeseries data currently being received by your Grafana Cloud environment. For Prometheus metrics, the timeseries are considered active if they have been received within a 15-30 minute interval. For Graphite metrics, the timeseries are considered active if they have been received within an 8 hour interval. This concept is used for billing purposes to determine how many timeseries metrics are actively being received.
