User losing access to dashboards even though they were given access to

    Give user access

    via dashboard permission

  • What happened?
    multiple users previously able to access certain dashboards, can not load unless I move that dashboard to a public folder.
    Tried to add individual user to the permission as viewer, user still can not access
    only started 7-11-2025 morning PDT

  • What did you expect to happen?
    User should be able to access a dashboard when given permission

  • Can you copy/paste the configuration(s) that you are having problems with?

  • Did you receive any errors in the Grafana UI or in related logs? If so, please tell us exactly what they were.

  • Did you follow any online instructions? If so, what is the URL?

I tried to delete and put back permission, make the user admin, add the user’s team permission to the dashboard, ask the user to log out and log back in, all did not help. It have to be taken out of its previous folder.
