Dashboard loading fails (due to "Permissions needed: folders:read")

I have a folder “Shared Dashboards” in which we store all the dashboards which are shared with specific users. Typically each dashboard is shared with another user.

• How are you trying to achieve it?

Create a specific user for each client that has access to their own dashboard, using the dashboard permissions.
To keep an overview of what dashboards we have shared, we grouped them all into 1 folder “Shared Dashboards”

• What happened?

Until just recently this setup was working,
but then all of a sudden, the users (with only view access to 1 specific dashboard) failed on loading their dashboard with the error:

Did you solve this? Here for the same reason. Apparently started happening after upgrading docker image.

Yes, this is very strange. Here’s what helped me: I added a folder to dashboards and checked that this folder can be seen by users with the viewer role. After this, my user had access to all dashboards.
