Singlestat showing incorrect current value

I have a metric that is either 1 or 0, when I put it into a singlestat panel using the Current value - it occasionally gives me a result of .5 - which is never a value of this metric. I am very confused about why this is happening, I’ve verified that I’m using Current value and not doing any sort of averaging anywhere. I’ve put the same metric into a graph and verified that it’s never been anything but 1 or 0. Has any else experienced strange behavior with singelestat panels?

I guess you are calculating avg value in the single stat panel:

Unfortunately that’s not the case, it’s set to current. Hence my confusion.

Ok, I think we figured it out. It’s not grafana doing this, it’s the default graphite aggregationMethod which we have set to average.
