While exploring Grafana Cloud (after playing with an install “at home” for a while) I was intrigued by the generation of PDF and mailing that around. I use template variables a lot, and would need a way to set those (like in the URL) so that I can select ‘All’ to unfold sections, or even generate daily charts for specific systems to be mailed to specific folks.

Afraid it’s not. The pull-down menu for the report generator selects a dashboard by title, not the URL (like in dashboard link, for example).

Thanks, that might be way to do it. I’m actually not in favor of mailed reports, as you can do much more with an interactive dashboard. But it’s good to have a solution for those who need it.
I was just thinking that when Grafana Cloud offers the scheduled reporting, setting template variables would be essential.
