  • What Grafana version and what operating system are you using?
    v11.2.0

  • What are you trying to achieve?
    Create a dashboard link that is hidden from users that don’t have permission to the intended dashboard

  • How are you trying to achieve it?
    Adding a standard dashboard link via the new link area in a dashboard

  • What happened?
    All used can click the link, but it just shows that the dashboard is not available

  • What did you expect to happen?
    When a limited user opens a dashboard, links to other dashboards not available to the current user must also be hidden

  • Can you copy/paste the configuration(s) that you are having problems with?

  • Did you receive any errors in the Grafana UI or in related logs? If so, please tell us exactly what they were.

  • Did you follow any online instructions? If so, what is the URL?
