Impact of the migration of grafana from version 8.5.2 to 10.2

Hello,

I would like to migrate from Grafana version 8.5.2 to version 10.2.

Our current monitoring stack is :

  • Grafana 8.5.2
  • Elasticsearch 8.2.0
  • Kibana 8.2.0

I’d like to know if Grafana’s version upgrade could impact the rest of the monitoring stack?

And will the import of current 8.5.2 dashboards into the new grafana version be functional?

you mean affect elastic/kibana? I dont believe so but…

Do you have a test/qa/staging environment for your grafana?
