Hi,
after upgrading form Grafana 7 to Grafana 8, I found that gauge panels were not displayed correctly anymore. The settings for the orientation are now switched the other way round. What was “vertical” is now “horizontal” and vice versa.
We have Grafana v8.5.9, but I could also reproduce it on the Grafana playground (v9.0.5) with this dashboard: Grafana
Just make the “Gauges” panel larger and then change the setting for “Orientation”.
Setting to “Horizontal” aligns the gauges vertically:
