I am hitting the same result. I am using grafana v8.0.6. I am using Postgresql. Please fix it asap.

request handler failed to convert dataframe "results" to plugins.DataTimeSeriesSlice: input frame is not recognized as a time series

I am not sure if it is related, but strangely data link variable is resolved to “results” instead of actual value. Here is the link to other issue that I have hit : Grafana 8 breaks Data Link variable to be "results"
