Azure Data Source breaks in 8.3.x

  • What Grafana version and what operating system are you using? - 8.3.x

  • What are you trying to achieve? - Access Azure Monitor via Azure Datasource

  • How are you trying to achieve it? - Added the datasource - tests successfully

  • What happened? - “auto” time refresh fails to retrieve data. It appears that setting min time interval in the query is not honoured either

  • What did you expect to happen? - Data to be accurately retrieved form Azure as per Grafana 8.2.x

  • Did you receive any errors in the Grafana UI or in related logs? If so, please tell us exactly what they were. - No log errors

Hi @beerygaz and welcome back to the forum–it’s been a while.

If you think this is a bug or a regression, and it sounds like it might be, then I would make a bug report in the grafana/grafana repo

It was a conflict between the internal and external data source for Azure
