Where is Timeseries pluginVersion coming from?

I have a Grafana 11.1.3 instance and I’m using dashboards originally made using a Grafana 7.4.5 instance (I believe).

The dashboards all work, and when I export them, I see many of the panels have been migrated, and are showing a new pluginVersion. But Timeseries is showing 7.4.5 as the pluginVersion.

Where is that pluginVersion coming from? Is there a package manager for that plugin that has a pluginVersion? Is that pluginVersion coming from the Grafana version itself (from when it was first created)?

There’s no problem that I can see, this is just an informational / curiosity issue.

That’s a built-in plugin, so plugin version should be Grafana version in this case.
