Webinterface not reachable

Hello Grafana Team,
I have a problem after updating to V10.0. The server is running but I cannot access the dashboards via http://xxx.xxx.xx.xx:3000.

Per “sudo systemctl status grafana-server” => active and running.
I am running out ideas. Firewall, restart, re-installation all checked and ok. Any further hints for me?

Thanks in advance,
Dominik

Hi @do86 ,

What is your grafana.ini config ?
Perhaps the host is localhost, it means only 127.0.0.1 interface that open the port.

You need to change the

# The ip address to bind to, empty will bind to all interfaces
;http_addr =

To your IP address or your fqdn domain name

Regards,
Fadjar

Hello @fadjar340 ,
thanks for your fast feedback. I put in the IP but so far no success.

# The ip address to bind to, empty will bind to all interfaces
http_addr = 192.168.10.40

# The http port to use
http_port = 3000

I am getting crazy. Re-installation via $ sudo apt-get purge grafana ???
I have a backup so it would not that big deal but I don’t understand the problem.
Does anybody has a good manual for “clean” uninstallation? Or a hint towards fixing this issue :slight_smile:

Is there any firewall active of the machine?

Hello @fadjar340 ,

Thanks again for your hint. I am sure there was no firewall on the machine.
I reinstalled Grafana yesterday and it works directly from the beginning. But after installation of the rendering plugin (manually per unzip to the plugin directory) it stopped working. After removing the plugin again, it works again.
Long story short => Rendering plugin was the problem.

Thanks again @fadjar340 !

Kind regards,
Dominik

I have tried all the things mentioned in the threads and I haven’t installed rendering plugins in Windows 10. Even though it’s not working
