Unable to visualize data from metricbeat in Grafana

Hello,
I have just setup metricbeat/elasticsearch (8x latest) & Grafana 9.x latest. So far I have been unable to visualize data in the grafana dashboards. Datasources (ES) has been setup without any errors & tried creating a panel /import dashboard using json from opensource templates. However cannot visualize the data in dashboards whatsoever, request help :slight_smile: ! Note: I can see data in Kibana…

Hi…

Is your elasticsearch using user and password?
If yes, please config the Basic Auth with your configuration

Thank for taking time to respond. No, I haven’t used a user / password combination.

Hello Again,

I remembered that elastic search had generated a password, so I chose the Basic Auth option & updated the datasource, however it still shows no data.
