Hello Grafana’s community!
I found myself sharing a public dashboard, after the setup I noticed that template variables are not supported. Why so? Is it a security concerned?
I believe it would be a great feature being able to use those variables on public dashboards, same a the internal dashboards.

I ran into the same limitation with public dashboards and it’s definitely a bit disappointing.
We need this feature implemented ASAP
I am using latest version of grafana enterprises 12.3.1 in this version same template variables not supported when we externally share the dashboard. you can give view role and share the dashboard link.
