Struggling with Manual Installation of Volkovlabs Form Panel

  • What Grafana version and what operating system are you using?
    I am working on Grafana Enterprise 9.5.3 on SLES 15.4. Due to being behind a corporate firewall, I am attempting to install Volkov Labs Panel v2.8.0 manually. I attempted to follow the manual installation documentation. Downloading from git, unzipping into my grafana plugins directory and restarting the container which runs my grafana (I also needed to add the plugin to allow unsigned in grafana.ini). However, it fails to install properly.

When attaching to the grafana container upon restart, I see these errors:

plugins are installed in the following folder on windows

I am not using Windows. I am using SLES. Additionally, I have found and unzipped the plugin to the correct directory. You can see this as the log has registered the plugin.

I downloaded v2.8.0 from git here is the link:
GitHub - VolkovLabs/volkovlabs-form-panel at v2.8.0, I clicked drop down besides code, and hit download zip

My solution:

On my local machine, I ran “npm run dev” inside the volkov project. I then copied the entire built volkov project into my grafana container. This worked.
