Statusmap not supporting annotations after update

I have recently upgraded my Grafana version from 7.5.4 to 9.0.4. The statusmap panel earlier displayed annotations properly but now the annotations are not visible. I have added global annotations for all panel through the dashboard settings.
The rest of the panels are supporting annotations but only the statusmap panel does not support annotations.
My system configuration are:

  1. Windows 10 64-bit
  2. Data Source: MS SQL
