PromQL sum several query with variable filters -> No data

  • What Grafana version and what operating system are you using?
    Grafana v11.6.5 (7d067d343a)

  • What are you trying to achieve?
    I have a query where I try to add several measurements with variable filters.

  • How are you trying to achieve it?
    (sum(EatonG3_Branch_1_Current_L1{ca=~“$CA”, busbar=~“$Busbar”, rack=~“$Rack”}) by (busbar))
    +
    (sum(EatonG3_Branch_4_Current_L1{ca=~“$CA”, busbar=~“$Busbar”, rack=~“$Rack”}) by (busbar))
    +
    (sum(EatonG3_Branch_2_Current_L1{ca=~“$CA”, busbar=~“$Busbar”, rack=~“$Rack”}) by (busbar))

  • What happened?
    When one measurement is not available it results in No data.

  • What did you expect to happen?
    Just to add all different values per busbar

  • Did you receive any errors in the Grafana UI or in related logs? If so, please tell us exactly what they were.
    Just no data (since one value is not always available, it depens on type of measurement device used on the filtering

  • Did you follow any online instructions? If so, what is the URL?
    I tried Copilot :slight_smile:
    I tried add vector (0) but without succes.
