Not able to generate reports

I am trying to generate last month reports but not able to get the reports. I am getting this month reports and we are using Grafana & Prometheus since last 4 months. Could you please help me here.

Hi!

Please provide a bit more information, what version of Grafana are you using?
Do you get any errors? It would be very helpful if you could show the logs.

Hi,

I would recommend using latest version of Grafana. Also switching to the image render plugin.
It sounds like you are running Grafana Enterprise? In that case I would reach out using your company’s support contact to get a support case raised if that does not solve your problem.

Aha, I thought you were using the reporting functionality.
Then I am a bit confused, could you elaborate

generate last month reports

What does that mean and how are you generating the reports?
Is the issue that you do not get any data?
How are you hosting Grafana?

Hello Jon,

We are trying to get last month customized data but unable to get the data but we are getting this month of data.
Grafana is hosted on data center server.
Data source is Prometheus.

Ok, there is no obvious reson I can think of.
Could you check if there is data in Prometheus for that period?

Hi,

So I guess the question is why there is no data in Prometheus then?
I cannot guess why that would be, you would have to describe from where the data comes, how it is sent to prometheus etc. I am not sure I will be able to be of much help though.

    We have installed agents on servers and servers communicating to Prometheus server.

One more thing now we are getting on last 15 days data only, please find the below screenshot. please look into this.

Hello Lingam,

I think your Problem can be solved by configuring your Prometheus.
Normally Prometheus deletes data older than a configured timespan.
In your case I would bet that your timespan is the default of 14 days.

Maybe this will solve your problem. If not feel free to ask us.
