Multi-select template variable combined with "Partition by Values" transformation causing dashboard to crash

Grafana v11.1.0
Datasource is MongoDB

  • What are you trying to achieve?

  • Multi-select enabled template variable to filter an XY chart visualization with a “Partition by values” transformation.

  • How are you trying to achieve it?

  • Through the UI options.

  • What happened?

  • Dashboard becomes unstable, clicking edit panel on the visualization in the dashboard results in it crashing

  • What did you expect to happen?

  • That template variable dropdown selections wouldn’t crash a dashboard.

  • Can you copy/paste the configuration(s) that you are having problems with?

  • No configurations.

  • Did you receive any errors in the Grafana UI or in related logs? If so, please tell us exactly what they were.

Error screen pops up (see below). Need to go back in browser to get dashboard back, all unsaved progress is lost.
