More Grafana Table Questions

Hi Grafana Community,

I have been working on creating some views for some users with the Grafana table, and I had some questions for implementing some things.

  1. Is there any way for users to adjust the columns on the fly? I am currently using a variable called columns for the query that can adjust which columns are selected and in what order, but if a user wanted columns in order of 4,3,2,1, then they would need to unselect in the dropdown then reselect in the order they want, and they would also need to click the x in the columns variable to delete a column, is there any way to change this functionality to be on the grafana table itself? Like for users to drag and drop columns in the order that they want, and maybe add an X or a trash button in the column header to delete a column on the fly.

  2. Currently for pagination, especially for longer tables, if a user scrolls all the way down and clicks next page or any page for that matter, they are still at the bottom of the page. Is there anyway to make it so that they are brought to the top of the table, or to make it so that the pagination navigation is fixed on the table and users are just scrolling through the table and not the actual page?

I’ve explored plugins that help with this, however the two most important features that are present in Grafana Table that I haven’t seen in the plug ins, are the ability to style cell from another cell, and the inspect cell ability.

Thank you!!

Hello @elden
Grafana Table visualization, it is not currently possible to add an X button directly to the column header to remove columns on the fly.
You can try the Business Table plugin, which provides more options for managing and customizing table columns.
