Hi there were some things I was hoping to make work for the table that is being used in a dashboard. I have columns that can be chosen in a dropdown, and for the column to be removed, the user has to go to that dropdown and unselect it, is there anyway to add an X (remove) to the column headers within the table. Also when the table is longer than the page, the header isn’t frozen when scrolling(could make table smaller so this doesn’t happen, but users prefer the longer table). There are plugins that I have seen fix this issue, however it presents a new issue as a very vital option for me is the inspect cell option which the grafana table has, and the plugins used doesn’t
Hello @elden
Welcome to grafana community

There is no option to add “X” cross button in table header . you can use Organize field by name transformation to hide the column.

The header isn’t frozen when scrolling : what version of grafana you are using , currently i am using Grafana v12.3.1 (Linux) work fine for both left to right scroll and top to bottom table header fixed.
Hi @infofcc3 Thank you for the response

Is there anyway to allow users to adjust the columns on the fly, Like some users use specific columns and like them in a specific order than other users. Currently we are using a columns variable, and adjusting that through a dropdown, but we were hoping for users to have more control within the actual table itself without editting it for other users.

We are on v12.3.0 (macOS), and when scrolling top to bottom, the headers aren’t frozen.
Please update the grafana-version
