Grafana Image Renderer Issue

What Grafana version and what operating system are you using?
Grafana Version 12.1.1 on Ubuntu 24.04.3 server

What are you trying to achieve?
To be able to get pdf documents with images of the grafana panels I have created

How are you trying to achieve it?
By using Grafana Image Renderer Version 4.1.5 to render images and Grafana Reporter to create the pdfs in a report structure.

What happened?
I am unable to render the images and get this as a result:

What did you expect to happen?
To get a pdf file with images of the panels in the dashboard

Did you receive any errors in the Grafana UI or in related logs? If so, please tell us exactly what they were.
This is what i got as an error in the logs:
logger=rendering t=2025-11-04T08:08:03.713196133Z level=warn msg=“Could not render image, no image renderer found/installed. For image rendering support please install the grafana-image-renderer plugin. Read more at https://grafana.com/docs/grafana/latest/administration/image_rendering/”
(I saw on github that there were a couple of closed issues where the problem was that the grafana-image-renderer folder was not owned by grafana, but instead by root. However, that is not the case here)

Did you follow any online instructions? If so, what is the URL?
I installed the grafana image renderer plugin with the command
→ grafana-cli plugins install grafana-image-renderer
And i installed the grafana reporter plugin with the help of this video:
