Is there any plan to support Elasticsearch 6?

Hi,
Currently, We’ve been using Elasticsearch version 5 with Grafana for the dashboard. We didn’t upgrade Elasticsearch from 5 to 6 due to grafana didn’t support it yet.

I just want to know when it’s possible that Grafana supports Elasticsearch 6.
Can’t wait to get started…

Don’t wait and use ES6. I use ES6 with Grafana ES datasource without any issue. I don’t see any problem unless you need specific ES6 functionality in datasource. Anyway good idea is always to start with POC to verify all your requirements first.
