I install Grafana 10.2.0 and what I get is v6.7.4

Hi everybody,
first and foremost: I really, really appreciate the work, that the developers have invested into Grafana and the work of the community here. I found a lot of help in this forum so far.
However, now I have an issue, that apparently has not been encountered by anybody else so far:
I am trying to install the newest version of Grafana (10.2.0) on Ubuntu, as I want to create a bigger dashboard with the Geomap-panel. So far, I’ve only been using Grafana on Windows11-computers (with Grafana 9) and didn’t have any issues.
However, when I’m installing version 10.2.0 on Ubuntu 22.04.3, I instead get version v6.7.4 (8e44bbc).
The computer is completely new, and there has never been a prior version of Grafana installed on it.
I installed it by following the steps listed here:
https://grafana.com/grafana/download?platform=linux
and it obviously downloaded the install-file for version 10.2.0. However, after installation, the login-page (and all other info-pages) tell me, that I have the version 6.7.4 installed, without the Geomap-panel.

It tried to uninstall it, reinstall it, deleted the repository, but still my problem remains.
Anybody here ever had a similar issue or has an idea, how this older version can end up on my computer?
Thanks a lot in advance and best regards,
Fritsko

Go into the grafaba 10 2 0 install and modify the port to sonething other than 3000 then restart grafana service and point your browser to ip.address:newport

OK, I got it… Obviously, I had clicked around the Ubuntu app-store and had installed the older Grafana-version there without noticing.
I uninstalled it there and reinstalled the new version via the terminal. Now it all runs smoothly via port 3000.
However, thanks a lot for your answer. It brought me on the right track!
