High-Resolution custom metrics for cloudwatch

We are trying to add High-Resolution custom metrics in our Grafana dashboard but the interval of data points can’t lower than 60 seconds although time period setting is 5 seconds. The interval of our data points for the metrics from AWS Cloudwatch is every 5 seconds. How can I show this 5 seconds interval metrics on the dashboard?
