Hi dears,
i installed the new version 11.2.0 and i can’t find a way to disable the “Administration” menu item that is also visible for viewers.
Can anyone help me?
thanks
I would say this is a bug. I used workaround: just disabled correlations feature and it’s gone (but I have full RBAC config, so your result may be different):
Hi Jan,
thanks for your answer, we too have RBAC configuration; we’ll try your configuration.
Thanks

then it’s there, because your
user has explore permission
No, that’s a feature.
just to avoid my possible misunderstanding: does your workaround hide the entire Administartion item and sub items, or only the “Correlations” item?
tnks
You can save your/my time just trying it on your end. A few clicks and you can check result.
i’m not able to enable Correlation toggle, and i see it on “Plugin and data” submenu of Administration (as admin user)
Doc is your friend:
If you don’t have the feature toggle management page, enable the
featureToggleAdminPage
feature toggle.
So lazy admin (like me) enables featureToggleAdminPage
, so I can edit features via UI. But that’s not stopping you to use config file for any feature toggles (correlations included).
Actually, I have the same problem, as showed below, there is still the tab Administration:
My purpose is to hide it for viewers.
It works for me. So complain to your Grafana support (I did and they sorted 3/4 this kind of issues for now).
