The &inactive added to the URL does exactly what I want however it will show the menu anyway after moving the mouse. What I want is a user permission called “Limited Viewer” that can only select dashboards and time and is NOT able to open the side-menu. So no Help, no password changes etc etc.
Why hide sidemenu ? Is there a reason beyond looks?
For some users outside our org I do not want them to be able click around, just do the basic stuff in order to keep them focused. Also to prevent them to change settings even personal settings as we need to correct these time and time over.
We see it as a “snapshot plus” feature, with snapshots you also do not have a menu…, with “snapshot plus” you will need an account but are not able to have the side menu to get distracted :-). It is all about confinement.
