Grafana timezone issues

  • What are you trying to achieve?

Applying the timezone for the panel.

Hi team,

I’m trying to change the timezone in particular panel. Currently it is in UTC+5:30 but I need it in IST format. When I apply the timezone to IST it is showing the error as : unable to find timezone.

The timezone tz(‘Asia/Kolkata’) worked for me in play.grafana.org:

Entering IST in the editor mode did not work…

I assumed that Grafana/InfluxDB are using these standard time zone abbreviations, but apparently not.

Thanks @grant2, I’ll try this for sure. I got another way in standard options where we can set the date and time locally.
