Grafana Timeline Panel Plugin?

Hi people,

Anybody knows if there is a simple way to create a timeline panel like this one in Grafana?

I reviewed available options in Grafana, and in Apache ECharts (using Volkov Apache ECharts Plugins for example), but I didn´t find any suitable alternative.

I don’t understand much about development, but for example here, there is a simple example did on JS (the one of the image above):

Any ideas? Anyone tried to did something similar? Maybe is a good idea for a Volkov Labs Panel Plugin @mikhailvolkov , :slight_smile:

Have you looked at the new canvas plugin as a possible solution?

Nope. Do you think that Canvas plugin can be an option for this?

I’m going to review that plugin and try to construct a timeline with it.

I think the problem with Canvas to create something like a timeline, is that the objects and their location on Canvas plugin are static, and I need that the timeline “populates” in order with all the calendar dates and description lines of every date. Do you think that there is a way to create that with Canvas plugin?
