It seems I can’t get Grafana to properly show gaps in the graphs, pulled from an influxdb.
There’s definitely a gap in the influxdb data between 00:56 and 23:40 but Grafana is showing a connected line between those points where data was last available - which is misleading for me.
The funny thing is, if I zoom out, that both points are visible (last data and the first data point after the gap), it connects the points. If I zoom in, so only left or right data point is visible, it correctly shows the gap.
Now I’m wondering why is it showing the points as connected and does not simply show a gap when zoomd out? t checked the graph option “Stacking & null value”, where it is also set to null.
Any idea what I’m missing here?
