  • What Grafana version and what operating system are you using?
    Latest Cloud version - v9.1.5-0100a6a (0100a6aa96)

  • What are you trying to achieve?
    I’m trying to add the postgres datasource for secured “Not Publicly Accessible” RDS instance to the grafana dashboards.

  • How are you trying to achieve it?
    i have allow the list of hosted IPs for grafana.

  • What happened?
    I added them to a new security group and attached it to the VPC, but when i add the db configuration i see the error

  • Did you receive any errors in the Grafana UI or in related logs? If so, please tell us exactly what they were.
    “db query error: failed to connect to server - please inspect Grafana server log for details”
