I’m experimenting with the new Alert enrichment feature in Grafana Cloud, specifically the “Data Source Query” enricher type.
I’ve configured an enrichment that runs two data source queries to add extra context to my alerts. Both queries return data when run manually. Alerts are sent to me via email.
However, I don’t see any output from those queries in the email notification.
In the UI and docs, the Data Source Query enricher says:
“Define queries that will be executed to enrich your alerts. The results will be available in the enrichment context.”
What exactly does “available in the enrichment context” mean?

Where can I actually see this enrichment context?

Is it expected to appear automatically in email notifications?

If not, how do I reference or render those query results in the email body?
I’ve gone through the documentation but couldn’t find a clear explanation or example of how to surface Data Source Query enrichment results in email notifications.
Any guidance or examples would be appreciated. Thanks!
