Grafana - annotation table is abnormally big

Since I integrated grafana under a mariadb database with galera, I notice that the annotation table is abnormally big.

Would you have any idea about this behaviour?

I looked at the annotations on the dashboards and my alerts, I don’t have many entries.

Looking at the data in the table, I see that there is a lot of data related to my alerts.
