Flowcharting plugin not working anymore

** What Grafana version and what operating system are you using?* I am using the version 9.5.1

  • What are you trying to achieve? I am trying to set up a dashboard with flowcharting panel in order to have all my switches and firewalls on the same panel. I want them to go green when the query return a success and orange when it failed.

  • How are you trying to achieve it? Prometheus + blackbox exporter lastest version installed on a debian.
    I use the plugin flowcharting.

  • What happened? My issue is similar to this one : Flowchart not working anymore with Grafa version 9..4.7 · Issue #398 · algenty/grafana-flowcharting · GitHub But when i apply the workaround, it just doesnt work.

  • What did you expect to happen? i expected to be able to see my metrics (green/orange) on my dashboard screen.
    Right now when i visit the dashboard the metrics are not there. I need to edit the pannel and change any parameter in order for it to show up.
    It’s just white. It seems like the querys are not even executed (i set it up to execute itself every 30 seconds.)
    I tested my queries on the explore menu and they were all fine.

  • Can you copy/paste the configuration(s) that you are having problems with? I will try to add the xml code as an attachment

  • Did you receive any errors in the Grafana UI or in related logs? If so, please tell us exactly what they were. No i dont get any error.

  • Did you follow any online instructions? If so, what is the URL? i followed github instructions on prometheus and blackbox exporter.

The flowcharting plugin is a community-based plugin which means that we are not maintaining it.

Looking at this page, I see that the owner has the current version is [0.9.0] - 2020-05-31

while on the GitHub page the version 1.0 is in progress. So I would recommend informing there in the comments about this case.
