504 query error

Hello everyone, I got the following error when I query a specific service in Jaeger UI “There was an error querying for traces: unexpected end of json input”. Also I got “gateway error - 504 query error” from grafana jaeger.

Anyone has any idea if there is a timeout setting which can be changed to avoid this?

Are you querying Tempo using the jaeger grpc plugin?

Any logs you can share? Can you use metrics or logs to confirm that the queries are making it to Tempo?
