Unable to see 'Explore' button in the Grafana version 6.1.2

Grafana Version : 6.1.2

I read about the ‘Explore’ button in the 6 version of grafana. I am using latest available version of grafana , but I cannot see the explore button in the left side bar.

Is there anything I am missing ? Do I need to download any plugin for this ?

You probably have an outdated configuration file. Make sure that you have the following configuration set:

[explore]
enabled = true
