Share snapshots created using the API

  • I’m using Grafana v8.4

  • I’m trying to create snapshots using the API

  • I’ve followed the documentation HTTP Snapshot API | Grafana documentation

  • It works, in the sense that I can create a snapshot, I can see it in UI and /api/dashboards/snapshots but I would like to share it.

I was wondering if externalUrl can help achieve this, but I don’t find much information about this field, other than the fact that is returned by GET snapshots requests,and currently is empyt, after I POST the snapshot.

Any idea? thx
