Repeating panels uses full space of the row but I want a grid with other panels as well

  • What are you trying to achieve?
    I have 2 stats panels with repeat enabled. Both shows different information. I want 1st stats panel repeats to use only 50% width of the screen (left side) and other side is for 2nd stats panel repeats.

Now issue is, repeats gets filled row by row and so after all panels created by repeat of the 1st panel is done then 2nd panel repeats starts. So sometimes it could be first 3 rows (full length of the screen) by 1st panel repeats and remaining by 2nd panel repeats. This makes things bit untidy.

  • How are you trying to achieve it?
    If I could create a grid structure with 2 cells, each with 50% width of the screen and place 1st panel repeats in 1st cell and 2nd panel repeats on 2nd cell, then my dashboard will be cleaner

if you want it like your layout, choose horizontal repeating, then you can specify how many panels you want to display across before it wraps

Hi, thanks for the reply, i am interested how you achived the one as shown in your chart

I tried the horizontal option with numbers, but issue is, based on the number i choose, it still fit that many panels in in the whole row. if I choose 5 panels, there will be 5 panels in row with full width of the screen, if i choose 8 , row will have 8 of them but still full width of the screen as in the screenshot i given.

mine is repeating on variable not on row

I am also repeating on variable and using panel repeat option. somehow not working for me. I am using stats panel and it always comes as given in the above screenshot

ok, but with this, i only occupy first 2 columns on the screen grid, remaining space is empty as shown in the screenshot. Also i have more than 10 items in the repeat variable, so panels vertically goes too deep. :frowning: . I spent quite some time in searchin for solution but seems no solution yet

yeah if you choose repeat by row, it takes the whole row…
