I’m interesting if is possible to display only some data series using values from a template field for the query what calculates/groups data like on the screenshot
Generally I would like select - from a templated multi-value list - few hosts.

Yes, use a regex filter in your query and specify your host variable in the regex filter

I’m not sure if you propose something like on the screenshot below.
As you can see data for servers are summarized and not displayed as a separate series.
well the query has avg by(instance) so of course it will only group by instance, so only one series per instance will be returned
