Quick lock/edit mode of dashboards for tablet view

I would like to request a feature to make dashboards have a quick toggle readonly mode.
It is near impossible to scroll on a dashboard on a phone or tablet without moving around a panel. The readonly mode for a dashboard is there, it just isn’t readily available.

  • What Grafana version and what operating system are you using?
    IOS 15.4.1

  • What are you trying to achieve?
    I’m trying to scroll a dashboard, but it is very difficult not to move a panel around when doing so.

  • How are you trying to achieve it?
    I place my finger in the small gap between panels and drag.

  • What happened?
    I moved a panel

  • What did you expect to happen?
    To move the dashboard view reference

  • Can you copy/paste the configuration(s) that you are having problems with?
    N/A

  • Did you receive any errors in the Grafana UI or in related logs? If so, please tell us exactly what they were.

  • Did you follow any online instructions? If so, what is the URL?

It is possible to make a dashboard read-only, in order to better browse the dashboard on a tablet or phone, but I then have to toggle the configuration whenever I need to make a change.

I also have the option to access the grafana using a viewer only role, then would prevent me from editing and moving panels, but I am accessing Grafana using SSO, so my user cannot change.
