I figured this would be the best place to post this.
I am considering switching over to Grafana from ELK Stack. I have just ran into so many issues with ELK its becoming a real pain.
I will be installing this on a server Dell 2950 with 8 cores and 32 gigs of ram with 4 TB of space on either Ubuntu 16.x or CentOS not sure on the OS part yet.
I was wondering the following if anyone could answer.
- I have a dataset of about 500 gigs of CSV files that I will need a count and be able to search on can I do this in Grafana without using ElasticSearch? Not sure if Grafana uses ElastricSearch.
- Can I set the dashboard up to be view able from from the web so if I am on the road or whatever I can just login to it.
- Will my server specs be enough to run Grafana?
- Can I do GeoMapping from around the world on grafana?
I guess that is all really.
