Moving from Kibana to Grafana - Available Grafana feature?

Hello, please pardon my ignorance as I am a newbie to the Grafana application. We currently use ELK to store and search for cisco syslog messages. In Kibana, we routinely use it’s discover feature to search for matching syslog messages. Is there a similar feature available in Grafana?

not currently. You can create a custom templating variable that you can use to define filters. Or use the ad-hoc variable to dyanmically add filters
