I’m trying to figure out all these configurations
I’m especially interested in Rate, Derivative, and Serial Difference. Is there any place where you can read about this? I couldn’t find the right documentation.

Thanks for the link. That works for “Serial differencing”, but for Derivative (the link on the list on the left doesn’t seem to be giving something useful for Grafana). I’m getting the same results using Serial Difference and Derivative and that is not right.
And Rate is not even there, or is it under a completely different name?
I think the documentation for these under the Grafana page (Elasticsearch section) is needed 
The Elasticsearch documentation contains examples and parameters that are not useful for Grafana.
