I’ve encountered an issue with the installation of the grafana-image-renderer plugin and I’m seeking assistance in resolving it.
Here’s what I’ve done so far:
I installed the plugin using the command line with the following command: grafana-cli plugins install grafana-image-renderer
The installation seemed to succeed, and here’s the message I received:
Downloaded and extracted grafana-image-renderer v3.10.1 zip successfully to …\data\plugins\grafana-image-renderer
Please restart Grafana after installing or removing plugins. Refer to Grafana documentation for instructions if necessary.
However, after restarting Grafana, the plugin still didn’t show up in the graphical interface. I noticed that the plugin was installed in a different location than expected. Instead of being in the usual plugins folder (C:\Program Files\GrafanaLabs\grafana\public\app\plugins\panel), it was installed in C:\Program Files\GrafanaLabs\grafana\public\app\data\plugins.
So, I moved the plugin folder to the usual plugins location, and even after restarting Grafana again, the plugin still doesn’t show up in the interface.
I’m a bit lost and not sure what to do to resolve this issue. If anyone has any ideas or has encountered this problem before, I would greatly appreciate any help you can provide.
