Issue in getting the more than one week data

Hi,

I am using grafana with graphite data source.

I am able to look for the data in the graphs for current week if I am selecting the now-6d , now.

But while I have selected the details from the now-7d, now am not getting any data to the graph. Not sure How it has to be resolved. Can anyone please help here?

Thanks,
MS

Welcome. Can you post a complete screenshot showing the query and the right side panel settings of the now-7d (non-working) graph?

Hi Please find the screenshot below

Great, thanks. And on that same view, what do you see when you toggle Table view?

Did we find a solution for this issue?

Welcome @mkbehl to the forum.

The original poster (@mithunkumar ) never provided the table view of his data when he selected Last 7 Days, so I cannot say whether it was resolved or not.

What do you see if you select Last 7 Days and toggle to table view?

Hi @grant2,

Thanks for the reply. Actually In my case, I am able to see data in the graphs for the current week when I select the range from now-7d, now. However, when I select the range from now-8d to now, no data appears in the graph.

Also, If I select Last 8 Days ((non-working graph) and switch to table view, no data is displayed.

I am using grafana v10.4.1. and using OCI metrics as data sourve

HI @grant2 Hi, I haven’t heard back from you. Interestingly, it’s working fine in other regions. I didn’t find any differences in the settings for both the panel and Grafana administration.

what happens when you click Query Inspector? and share that?

Hi @yosiasz,

Getting no result after click on ‘Query Inspector’

so you see those are the queries there that end with .avg()

  1. are they accurate for thw time span you are wanting to see?
  2. if you take those queries and run them outside of grafana, in oracle metrics what results do you get

Hi @yosiasz,

Thanks for the reply.
When I executed the same queries outside of Grafana in Oracle OCI, we are getting the results for the any selected past time range.

In grafana, the 1-minute time window is accurate, but when changed to 5 minutes, it provides results for any range in the past ( e.g now-20d, now). Does this mean Grafana only works this way, or is there an alternative method to maintain the 1-minute window ?

I haven’t heard back from you guys.
