Installing grafana 4.5 beta alongside 4.2

I want to try the new 4.5 beta version of grafana.

But I already have the 4.2 version installed in my server, and in that I have some important dashboards. and important data.

How would installing 4.5 beta will affect the current version ?

I want to ask that if I can run 2 different versions at the same time in the same server ?

The current grafana dashboard is really important to me. I don’t want to lose it.

Not so easy to do that. You have to have a separate grafana db and run it on another port.
