Just throwing this out there…
I had need to put an IMG element into a dashboard that refreshed periodically (a ‘live’ network map from zabbix – example). I know you can just use the text panel, but I wanted something simpler.
Anyhow, to accomplish this I made a small IMG panel plugin. In case anyone’s interested, see: GitHub - chasefox/grafana-img-panel: Simple IMG panel for grafana with refresh option
There’s also a small script in the backend to periodically scrape the map, but that’s a separate matter.
Good idea / bad idea?
