How to show Dashboard variable value when there is no value received by query?

Hello all,

I am using Time Series panel on Grafana.
In the panel there is an option called no value to set the text to show when the query didn’t find any data.
I would like to use Dashboard variable for example $__from in that text, but inputting this doesn’t replace the $__from with its value (unix timestamp) but shows the text without processing the variable (“$__from”).

Is there any way to do this or is it just not supported?

Yes, variables are not supported everywhere. You found exactly that case where they are not supported - no data config field.
